10th Annual Rappahannock County Farm Tour

September 29 & 30, 2018 | 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

We’ll have open farm days as part of the Rappahannock County Farm Tour.  Walk the farm, meet our animals up close, and learn more about our farming operations.  In addition, we’ll have local artisans demonstrating their crafts and selling their wares.

The Rappahannock County Annual Farm Tour is a free, two-day, self-guided tour offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of our county’s working farms. This year’s tour will feature 15+ venues, with a wide range of farms and experiences – from beekeeping to llamas to organic vegetable farms, goats, chickens, cows, as well as local artisans selling their wares. It’s a great opportunity to see real, working farms surrounded by the pristine beauty of Rappahannock County. Rappahannock County’s early settlers were small farmers; officially founded in 1833, it has long been deeply rooted in agriculture.
